COVID-19 Funeral Assistance

The COVID-19 pandemic has brought overwhelming grief to many FEMA, our mission is to help people before, during and after disasters. We are dedicated to helping ease some of the financial stress and burden caused by the virus.

Under the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act of 2021 and the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021, FEMA is providing financial assistance for COVID-19 related funeral expenses incurred on or after January 20, 2020.

A Contract Explanation Webinar will be held for members (only) in the Frontier WV-VA bargaining unit on Thursday, September 7th 8:00 pm.

Registration in advance is required. To register click the link https://t.ly/WV_VA/webinar/register or scan the attached QR code. To give members of the bargaining unit priority access, we are requiring registrants to provide their Frontier CRIS ID which we can validate using the Company provided membership list. Local officers who are not members of the bargaining unit will also be given priority access and are asked to enter their Local number in place of a CRIS ID.

Members should be encouraged to join the webinar using a computer, tablet, or cell phone in order to view the PowerPoint presentation that will be used.
